Starbreeze reported second-quarter 2026 net sales of SEK 25.6 million (53.8), with PAYDAY 2 accounting for SEK 13.7 million (8.0) and PAYDAY 3 for SEK 11.0 million (17.7). Third-party publishing and work-for-hire each contributed SEK 0.0 million, against SEK 6.7 million and SEK 19.6 million a year earlier. EBITDA was SEK 3.4 million (5.9), loss before tax was SEK -36.8 million (-25.4), and cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period stood at SEK 52.1 million (156.4).
The company said PAYDAY 3 reached a milestone in July when recent Steam reviews turned Mostly Positive, with more than 72 percent of recent reviews positive. Starbreeze also reported growing monthly active users across both games, at 174,000 for PAYDAY 2 and 158,000 for PAYDAY 3.
