Something We Made is a small independent studio in Karlshamn. It made the photo adventure TOEM and is following it with TOEM 2, due 29 September 2026.
History
Niklas Mikkelsen and Lucas Gullbo founded the company in 2018 after working on TOEM as students in Karlshamn. The first game took several years and a handful of redesigns before a worldwide launch.
Games
TOEM: A Photo Adventure launched on 17 September 2021 for Windows, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, later reaching Xbox. It is a short, monochrome photography adventure. TOEM 2 is a 3D sequel set a few years later, with jumping, climbing and companions who can change the ending. It is scheduled for 29 September 2026 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Steam, co-published with popagenda.
Now
As of 31 August 2026 the studio is in the final month before TOEM 2. The official site still lists the same Karlshamn harbour-town address and a small core team around the two founders.
