Valheim 1.0 is out. Swedish studio Iron Gate has taken the Viking survival game out of Early Access, and the 1.0 update — including the Deep North biome — is live as of 9 September 2026.
Coffee Stain Publishing is the publisher. Iron Gate has said 1.0 ships on PC, Linux and Mac, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, plus PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, with cross-play. Steam now lists the app as released 9 September 2026, not Early Access, at $29.99.
