Swedish games industry organization Dataspelsbranschen reports that on 20 March, more than 170 women (cis and trans) and non-binary people from the games industry gathered to celebrate International Women’s Day at Fatburens atrium Ljusgården and at Game Town.
The evening’s theme was a ‘witchy-gala’ with a focus on community, networking and creativity, including activities such as tarot readings and a themed social program.
The event also featured an indie game area where attendees could try Murk (Loud Woman) and Thorns of Salvation (Michelle Poline & Matilda Ringborg), and it thanked partners, sponsors and organizers who supported the night.
